Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located above a lively pub in a pleasant village setting, offering a pristine room with bathrobes, hairdryer, and ample space. However, the shower in the expensively refurbished room could be improved. The dining experience provides a continental affair with a good variety of options, and the service includes a welcoming drink. Overall, a convenient stay with value for money in a great Western location close to Hartburn village.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were beautifully decorated with lovely accessories and offered excellent amenities, making my stay very comfortable. However, the location was a bit icy, which made walking a bit risky but the pleasant village setting added to the charm. The dining experience was a bit bizarre but had everything we needed for a continental breakfast. On the bright side, the hotel's location right across a coffee shop was convenient for a quick bite.
The hotel offers a beautifully refurbished shower room with a rather poor shower, but the room itself is absolutely lovely, nicely decorated, and offers a view over the garden. There is no noise from the street, and despite not serving evening meals, they were accommodating and even provided recommendations and supplies for my own food. The breakfast selection was well set out with a great choice of cold items, including my favorite, porridge in small pots.
My stay at the hotel was truly a delightful experience. The room was spotless and fresh, offering great value for money. It was large, clean, and very well equipped, making my stay very comfortable. However, the icy walkways outside made getting around a bit risky. The location was perfect for me, being in a pleasant village setting just a 20-minute walk into Stockton, and there was a convenient coffee shop right across the hotel. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a continental buffet style breakfast offering plenty of choices. The service was excellent, including a welcome drink upon arrival. Overall, a great stay at this hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, with lovely rooms offering garden views and a peaceful ambiance. The cleanliness and comfort were excellent, although the bathroom and toilet were a bit small for me. The service was top-notch, and the location was perfect for my needs. However, the icy conditions outside made walking a bit tricky at times.
The Stockton Arms is a beautifully decorated hotel with exceptionally clean and well-appointed rooms. The do-it-yourself breakfast offering was convenient, although clearing up was required afterwards. The comfortable beds added to the luxurious feel of the stay, making it a great choice. However, being located outside the center might not suit everyone's preferences.
